about: Medical Emergency Response Team Norway is a voluntary organization with experience from Poland and Ukraine.

Our main task is emergency medical care for the sick and injured. We also organize medical equipment that is being shipped to recipients in Ukraine.

At present, the main focus is on emergency medical assistance to Ukrainian refugees and civilians.

MERT NOR operates in humanitarian crises and in disaster areas.

MERT NOR consists of Norwegian ambulance workers with varied backgrounds from the military, ambulance service and crisis areas.

goal: MERT NOR aims to:
Create medical emergency teams with a short response time to crisis / disaster areas.
Educate emergency medical personnel to be part of emergency medical teams.
Operate aid stations and ambulances in crisis areas

The purpose is to be achieved through the following activities:
• Raising financial resources to create a sustainable organization with the ability for rapid deployment to crisis / disaster areas.
• Train and prepare selected personel to operate in crisis and disaster areas.
